Goodbye App on your phone
Download it free on Android phones today. The iPhone app is being built, and until it is ready you can use Goodbye App in Safari on any iPhone or iPad.
You don't have to wait for an app. A letter you write today is scheduled the moment you save it, whichever device you wrote it on.
Worried about the day you can't sign in? The optional inactivity setting sends everything you scheduled early once you have been away for the 3 to 45 days you choose. We email you first.
Android phone or tablet
Samsung, Google Pixel, Motorola and most other phones that are not iPhones.
iPhone or iPad
The iPhone app is being built. You can already use Goodbye App in Safari on an iPhone or iPad, and keep it on your Home Screen like an app:
- Open goodbyeapp.com in Safari.If this page opened inside another app, such as Facebook or Gmail, open it in Safari first.
- Tap the button with three dots or three short lines next to the web address, then tap Share. Share looks like this:If you can already see the Share button on the screen, just tap it.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.Don't see Add to Home Screen? Scroll to the bottom of the list, tap Edit Actions, then add it.
- Open Goodbye App from your Home Screen. You may need to sign in once more.
When the iPhone app is ready, sign in the way you do now: with your email address and password, with Google or with Apple. Everything you have written will be there. Sign in with Apple would not open an account you made another way.
The iPhone app will need iOS 17 or later. On an older iPhone, or on an iPad, keep using Goodbye App in Safari.
